The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for very heavy rainfall over Chhattisgarh, Eastern Madhya Pradesh and Western Uttar Pradesh for tomorrow. Heavy rainfall is also expected over Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Odisha, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and parts of North-East India during the next two days.
The Met Department also predicted thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds over Karnataka, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Kerala, Mahe, and Tamil Nadu tomorrow. Similar weather conditions are expected over Jammu-Kashmir, Chhattisgarh, Puducherry, Karaikal, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Andaman and Nicobar Islands during the next two days.
Meanwhile, parts of Delhi witnessed heavy rainfall today. IMD has forecast one or two spells of light rainfall at many places of the National Capital during morning to afternoon tomorrow. According to the Weather Agency, the maximum temperature over Delhi tomorrow will be around 32 to 34 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature will hover around 26 to 28 degrees Celsius.
