IMD forecasts heavy rainfall over Gujarat, Kerala, Nagaland, Manipur, Odisha, Tamil Nadu tomorrow

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall over Gujarat, Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, South Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal and West Madhya Pradesh tomorrow. According to IMD, Madhya Maharashtra, Odisha and West Madhya Pradesh are expected to experience thunderstorms and hailstorms.

The Met Department has predicted thunderstorms and lightning over Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Rajasthan during the next two days. Similar conditions are expected to prevail over Telangana, Konkan, Goa, Saurashtra, Kutch, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep till Tuesday.

The weather agency has said that conditions are favourable for the further advance of the Southwest monsoon into more parts of the southwest and southeast Arabian Sea, the Lakshadweep Islands, and parts of Kerala and Tamil Nadu over the next four to five days.

For Delhi, IMD has forecast a partly cloudy sky with a light spell of rain and thunderstorms tomorrow. The maximum temperature is expected to reach 35 to 37 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is expected to hover around 24 to 26 degrees Celsius in the national capital tomorrow.
