India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall over North Eastern parts of India during the next two days.

According to IMD, similar weather conditions are also likely to prevail over Bihar, East Madhya Pradesh, East Uttar Pradesh, Odisha and West Bengal today. Meanwhile, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Bihar, Odisha, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Telangana are expected to witness thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds during the next two days.

The Met Department has also predicted hot and humid weather over Kerala and Mahe today.
