Odisha is likely to receive more rain as the IMD forecasts the formation of a fresh low-pressure area over the north-west Bay of Bengal around the 13th of this month. A cyclonic circulation is likely to form around tomorrow, bringing another spell of rainfall to the state. Heavy rain has been forecast today in 14 districts, while Bhubaneswar and Cuttack are also likely to receive heavy showers. Meanwhile, the flood situation remains mixed. Baitarani at Akhuapada is showing a falling trend, while Brahmani, Budhabalanga and Subarnarekha are rising at some locations.
