The International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT), Manesar, today celebrated its 20 years of service to India’s automotive industry. Heavy Industries Minister HD Kumaraswamy and Minister of State for Heavy Industries, Bhupathi Raju Srinivasa Varma, were present on the occasion.  The event featured an industry dialogue on the PM e-Drive scheme, a flagship initiative envisioned under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to accelerate India’s transition towards clean, sustainable, and self-reliant mobility. The event saw the inauguration of an indigenous Agri Machinery Test Facility, a first-of-its-kind initiative aimed at supporting farmers by ensuring reliable, certified equipment for agricultural modernization. During the event, it was emphasized that ICAT’s journey is not only about the past 20 years but also about the future, where India is poised to achieve global leadership in both automotive and agricultural technologies through innovation, dedication, and collaboration.
