The Indian Air Force (IAF) has onboarded Air Force Schools across the country onto ScrollControl, a comprehensive Child Digital Safety Programme.
The initiative has been launched through the Indian Air Force Educational & Cultural Society under the aegis of Air Headquarters. The programme coincides with National Cyber Security Awareness Month.
The Ministry of Defence said that, under the programme 261 teachers from 42 Air Force Schools have successfully completed certification as Cyber Crime Intervention Officers.
The trained teachers will address cyber threats such as online grooming, exploitation, misuse of Artificial Intelligence, gaming-related risks and financial fraud.
The Ministry further stated that the initiative marks a significant step towards strengthening cyber awareness and preparedness among students. It also promotes responsible digital citizenship and reinforces the IAF’s commitment to safeguarding children in an increasingly connected world.
