In hockey, India will take on arch-rival Pakistan in the semifinal of the Men’s U-18 Asia Cup Hockey tournament at Kakamigahara Hockey Stadium in Japan tomorrow. The winner will advance to the final and face either Japan or the top team from Pool B.
India entered the last four after finishing second in Pool A with nine points. The team ended the group stage with a dominant 13-1 victory over Chinese Taipei after its only defeat came against hosts Japan.
In the women’s U-18 Asia Cup, India progressed to the semifinals after remaining unbeaten in the group stage and will face China tomorrow .
