Union Home Minister Amit Shah is visiting Punjab to share the pain of those bereaved families whose members have recently been killed for raising their voices against drug traffickers in the state.
He will be meeting the families of those who recently lost their lives in Mansa, Gurdaspur and Sangrur districts, after raising their voices against the ‘chitta’ (synthetic drug) traffickers, who have allegedly been flourishing under the patronage of the AAP government.
He said the grief these families are enduring is beyond words and any attempt to silence those who speak out against drugs will never succeed.
