Union Home Minister Amit Shah has paid tributes to the third Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Balasaheb Deoras, on his death anniversary today. In a social media post, Mr Shah said that Balasaheb Deoras dedicated his life to national service, social harmony, and the character building of the youth and considered untouchability to be the greatest curse. He added that Balasaheb Deoras was a leader who shaped the Sangh even during the difficult days of the Emergency and motivated the youth to safeguard democracy. The Home Minister noted that he will continue to be an inspiration for everyone.
