HM Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh pay tribute to Jagannathrao Joshi on his death anniversary

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has paid tribute to Jagannathrao Joshi on his death anniversary today. In a social media post, Mr Shah said that Karnataka Kesari Jagannathrao Joshi was a patriotic Karmayogi who endured inhuman atrocities to end the Permit Raj in Goa. He added that Joshi’s political wisdom in expanding the BJP’s ideals and organisation across the nation will continue to inspire young leaders.
 
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also paid tribute via a social media post. Mr Singh said that he was a towering leader, an exceptional organiser, and a tireless champion of national unity.
 
The Minister added that Joshi’s unwavering commitment to the nation was reflected in his role in the Goa Liberation Movement, while his fearless stand against social evils like untouchability embodied his vision of a just and harmonious society. 
 
Defence Minister added that Jagannathrao Joshi was known for his simplicity, sharp wit, and unwavering devotion to the motherland and dedicated his life to public service. His ideals of selfless service, social harmony, and national pride will continue to guide generations to come.
