High-Powered Task Force invites suggestions on public examination reforms

The High-Powered Task Force, which has been constituted by the Government on public examination reforms, has invited suggestions from all stakeholders, including students, parents and teachers. It has requested the stakeholders to submit their suggestions by 13th of the next month through its website, WhatsApp or its phone number 1800-180-4747. They can also submit their suggestions through its email on examreformstaskforce@dopt.gov.in.
 
Suggestions have been invited on the areas relating to conduct and security of exams, its design and assessment methodology, governance, accountability and institutional arrangements and prevention, detection and redressal of examination malpractices.
 
The Task Force is examining measures for strengthening institutional systems and processes, ensuring examination integrity and security, deploying appropriate technologies, augmenting examination infrastructure and safeguarding student well-being. Its objective is to develop a robust, secure, transparent, equitable and future-ready public examination system.
 
The Task Force has been constituted under the chairmanship of renowned technology expert Nandan Nilekani to examine and recommend comprehensive reforms relating to the conduct, security, design and governance of public examinations, including examinations conducted by the National Testing Agency.
