Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in Madhya Pradesh, says IMD

India Meteorological Department, IMD has said that Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in Madhya Pradesh on Saturday. Very heavy rainfall is expected in Eastern Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand from tomorrow till three to four days. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur during next four to five days. 
 
Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar and Jharkhand  are likely to witness heavy rainfall tomorrow. Rainfall is very likely to continue over Konkan and Goa during next five days. Heavy rainfalls expected in ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra today and tomorrow.
 
IMD said, Roan and Mihona of Bhind District of Madhya Pradesh recorded highest 16 centimetres of rainfall in the last 24 hours. Mathabhanga in West Bengal and Nowgong in Chhatarpur district of Madhya Prdesh recorded 13 centimetres of rainfall each. Sohra in East Khasi hills district Meghalaya recorded 12 centimetres of rainfall.
