Heavy Rainfall Likely Over Northeast India Till August 24: IMD

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very rainfall over East Madhya Pradesh tomorrow. Heavy rainfall conditions are also expected to prevail over North Eastern parts of India including Assam, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura till 24th of this month.

 

According to IMD, similar weather conditions will also prevail over Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, East Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Odisha, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Uttarakhand and West Madhya Pradesh tomorrow.

 

Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh, North Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal are likely to witness thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds during the next two days. The Weather Department has also predicted squally Weather with wind speed gusting to 60 kilometre per hour, likely to prevail off north Andhra Pradesh coasts adjoining some parts of westcentral Bay of Bengal, over Andaman Sea.
