In Jharkhand, students protesting against irregularities in state’s recruitment examinations today burnt effigies of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav in Ranchi. Students raised slogans against the state government and reiterated their demand for the cancellation of JPSC and JSSC examinations, alleging irregularities in the recruitment process.
The protesters have also announced plans to gherao the Chief Minister’s residence on 20th of this month.
Meanwhile, the state government made another attempt to resolve the issue through dialogue and invited the protesting students for talks tomorrow at 2 PM.
