The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign has evoked an enthusiastic response across Maharashtra, with Tiranga rallies, cycle and motorcycle rallies, cultural programmes and awareness activities being organised ahead of the 80th Independence Day.

In Mumbai, nearly 1,500 NCC cadets from schools and colleges took part in a Tiranga rally from Azad Maidan through Fort, promoting patriotism, discipline and national unity.

In Ratnagiri, citizens, students and public representatives participated in a Tiranga padyatra from Maruti Mandir to Jaystambh despite intermittent rain.

In Yavatmal, students and citizens joined a Tiranga padyatra, with students carrying a 250-foot-long national flag.

In Navi Mumbai, school students and teachers held Tiranga rallies and organised activities highlighting India’s freedom struggle.

In Nagpur, railway officials and employees participated in a Tiranga rally and took a collective pledge to uphold national unity and respect the national flag.

In Sangli, a cycle and e-bike rally was held amid rain, while Miraj witnessed a Tiranga padyatra carrying a 150-foot-long national flag.
