Har Ghar Tiranga campaign begins across Maharashtra with patriotic fervour

The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign has begun across Maharashtra with patriotic fervour. Various districts in the state are organising Tiranga rallies and awareness programmes ahead of Independence Day.

In Beed, a Tiranga rally was organised from the District Sports Complex by the district administration, the District Sports Officer’s Office and various sports organisations. A large number of sportspersons, students, sports coaches and citizens participated in the rally. Slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram’ created a patriotic atmosphere in the city.

In Thane, a Tiranga cycle rally was organised jointly by the Thane Municipal Corporation and Aamhi Cycle Premi Foundation. The rally, which began from the Municipal Corporation headquarters, witnessed enthusiastic participation by cyclists and citizens. The rally highlighted the messages of patriotism, environmental conservation, healthy living and greater use of bicycles.

In Khamgaon in Buldhana district, a Tiranga Yatra and public awareness rally were organised under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’, ‘TB-Free India’ and ‘Drug-Free India’ campaigns. NCC cadets, students, voluntary organisations and citizens participated in the rally. Students also presented street plays at various locations to create awareness about tuberculosis, its symptoms, prevention and free treatment.

The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign is being observed across the state through various activities aimed at strengthening the spirit of patriotism and encouraging citizens to actively participate in Independence Day celebrations.
