Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, along with Union Minister for Ports, Shipping, and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal, today laid the foundation stone for a 150 Tonnes Per Day Capacity E-Methanol plant at Deendayal Port Authority in Kutch district.
Addressing the gathering, Mr Sonowal highlighted that the commencement of this plant will create numerous employment opportunities across the country. He emphasized Gujarat’s historic role in India’s maritime sector spanning over five thousand years and noted that Kandla ranks as the seventh-largest port globally.
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel stated that Deendayal Port serves as a crucial maritime gateway for the nation and is rapidly being developed into a Green Hydrogen hub.
