In Gujarat, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today launched the state-wide ‘Namo Swachhata Abhiyan’ and ‘Amritpan Abhiyan’ from the Civil Hospital campus in Gandhinagar, and urged citizens to transform cleanliness into a shared resolve and a natural habit.
Under this week-long campaign, a massive cleanliness drive will be executed across all 11,935 government healthcare institutions in the state, from campuses to terraces. Minister of State for Health Praful Pansheriya stated that the campaign focuses on the disposal of scrap material, including broken furniture, outdated medical equipment, and old vehicles, on a war footing to utilize that space for patient facilities.
