Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel launches state-wide 24th ‘Shala Praveshotsav’ from PM Modi’s Alma Mater

In Gujarat, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today launched the state-wide 24th ‘Shala Praveshotsav’ from the historic BN High School in Vadnagar, from where Prime Minister Narendra Modi received his school education. During the three-day enrollment drive, nearly 28 lakh 58 thousand children will be admitted across 38,400 schools throughout the state. At the launch event in Vadnagar, 390 children were enrolled, and 24 dropout students were successfully reintegrated into school.
 
Addressing the students, the Chief Minister highlighted the Prime Minister’s journey as the ultimate example of how determination and education can elevate a student from a humble background to immense success. He also urged 100% enrollment to boost this educational mission. Speaking about the campaign’s success since its inception by Narendra Modi in 2003, the Chief Minister noted a revolutionary transformation in Gujarat’s education sector, with the dropout rate plunging from 37 per cent to less than one per cent.
