Gujarat ATS arrested eight people associated with the banned terrorist organisation Jaish-e-Mohammed. Banaskantha, Navsari and Patan police of Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh Dewas police have arrested eight people by conducting joint raids in the relevant areas of Banaskantha, Mehsana, Navsari, Patan in Gujarat and Dewas districts of Madhya Pradesh.

According to the ATS all these accused were in touch with Pakistani handlers Abdullah and Mohammad Umar. They were also working to translate the literature of the banned terrorist organisation Jaish-e-Mohammed into Gujarati and spread its ideology. A total of 254 pieces of literature, including the flag of Jaish-e-Mohammed, were recovered from the accused. The ATS has interrogated all the arrested people in this regard.
