Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Dr Virendra Kumar today said that the Government is ensuring that no caste or community is deprived from its development schemes. The Minister said this while addressing the Samavesh Utsav in New Delhi.
He said that through events like the Samavesh Utsav, the Government is working actively towards the empowerment of Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes (DNTs). On the occasion, he lauded the people of the DNT community for their contribution to India’s freedom struggle. The event is part of initiatives to ensure inclusion and progress DNT communities. The event is also providing a platform to the traditional skills, craftsmanship and products of DNT Artisans.
