The Government has debunked a video circulated by several social media accounts claiming that the runway at Indira Gandhi International Airport of Delhi is submerged in rainwater. The Fact Check Unit of the Press Information Bureau said that the claim is fake and the video is from April 2024, when Dubai Airport experienced rare heavy rainstorms, causing planes to struggle to navigate through floodwater. Government has urged citizens to always verify such claims through reliable and official sources before believing or sharing them.
