Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla and Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh participated in the nationwide launch of the ‘Prime Minister’s Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana’ in Imphal today, aimed at promoting employment-led growth in the State. The programme was held at the NIELIT Imphal Complex and was also attended by State Home Minister Govindas Konthoujam. The event included the distribution of incentive funds under the scheme to beneficiaries in Manipur.
Addressing the gathering, Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla said that various initiatives under the leadership of PM Modi are underway to build a developed India by 2047. He noted that the distribution of incentives under the scheme marks an important milestone in this national effort.
Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh said that the Government of India has been implementing several welfare schemes and stressed that departments must ensure their benefits reach the grassroots level. He urged officials to work with sincerity and dedication.
