Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju today accused the opposition parties of not allowing the discussion despite the government’s assurance on the NEET paper leak issue.
Speaking to reporters at Parliament premises, he said that the government has accepted the demand for discussion, but the opposition is avoiding discussion by putting new conditions. He said that Congress can also speak about its demands during the discussion.
Meanwhile, Lok Sabha has been adjourned for the day following opposition protests over various issues, including the NEET paper leak case. When the Lok Sabha assembled after the second adjournment at 2:00 PM, the opposition members again started sloganeering, forcing the chair to adjourn the House for the day. The Rajya Sabha has also been adjourned till 3:00 PM over the same issues.
