Government extends RoDTEP scheme upto 31st December 2026

The government has extended the continuation of the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) Scheme up to 31st December this year and it shall be available for exports made by Domestic Tariff Units, Advance Authorisation Holders, Special Economic Zone Units and Export Oriented Units.

The RoDTEP Scheme refunds embedded, un-rebated Central, State and local duties, taxes and levies borne on exported products – including prior-stage cumulative indirect taxes.

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry said that this measure reflects the Government’s commitment to provide support to the exporters by creating a level playing field in international markets vis-à-vis competing economies.
