The Government has debunked a letter circulating on social media, which claimed that a letter issued by Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh is proposing preparation for Operation Sindoor 2.0. The Fact Check Unit of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) informed that the letter is fake. The PIB further added that neither the Defence Secretary nor the Defence Ministry has issued any such letter. PIB also urged the citizens to beware of fake news circulating online and always depend on reliable official sources for verified information.
