The Government has debunked a claim circulating on social media that the Union Finance Minister is promoting an investment platform and promising citizens a monthly income of over 20 lakh rupees in return for an initial investment of 22 thousand rupees. The Fact Check Unit of the Press Information Bureau said that the claim is fake. It said that the Finance Minister has not endorsed any such investment scheme or platform. The Press Information Bureau has advised citizen to beware of unverified links or platforms that aim to deceive people and cause financial losses.
