In the Indian bullion market, 24-carat gold was trading 0.8 per cent down at 1.44,720 rupees per 10 grams, while Silver was trading 1.8 per cent down at 2,22,610 rupees per kilogram a short while ago.
At the Multi-Commodity Exchange, Gold for the August contract was trading 0.7 per cent down at 1,44,240 rupees per 10 grams, and Silver for the September contract was trading 1.8 per cent down at 2,22,345 rupees per kilogram, when reports last came in.
