Goa Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant flagged off a Tiranga Rally in Panaji as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and the commemoration of 150 years of the National Song, Vande Mataram. The rally was organised to honour the National Flag and celebrate India’s 80th Independence Day.
The rally started from Miramar Circle and proceeded to Azad Maidan. Students, youth and citizens participated in large numbers, carrying the Tricolour and celebrating the spirit of patriotism.
The rally was organised by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Goa. Students, youth and citizens enthusiastically joined the rally.
