Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) have offloaded Indian equities worth 30, 374 crore rupees so far in May. With this, the total FPI outflow from the equity market has crossed 2.22 lakh crore rupees so far this year.
According to depository data, FPIs have pulled out 401 crore rupees from the Indian debt market under Debt General Limit category. However, the debt categories of Voluntary Retention Route (VRR) and Fully Accessible Route (FAR) have recorded inflows of 703 crore rupees and 4 thousand 261 crore rupees, so far this month.
