In Andhra Pradesh, four Intermediate students were killed and another was injured after they were hit by the Rajya Rani Express near Ravivalasa in Tekkali mandal of the Srikakulam district today. The students were reportedly walking along the railway track when the accident occurred. The injured person has been shifted to Tekkali hospital for treatment.
Union Civil Aviation Minister K. Ram Mohan Naidu expressed deep shock over the incident. He enquired about the accident with railway and revenue officials and conveyed his condolences to the families of the deceased. He also directed the officials to ensure better medical treatment for the injured person
