A fact-finding team of five MPs of Trinamool Congress arrived at Imphal today and visited Churachandpur district. The district is the epicenter of the present ethnic crisis in the State.
 
The team is led by MP of Rajya Sabha Derek O'Brien and other members are Kalyan Banerjee, Dr. Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar, Dola Sen, and Sushmita Dev. The team will visit different violence-affected places and meet the displaced people.
 
The team met the Governor of Manipur Anusuiya Uikey this afternoon and informed the Governor about the shortage of essential items, especially baby food and medicines in relief camps.

The team also assured the Governor that they will extend cooperation to solve the issue to bring up peace and tranquility so that all those displaced people be able to settle down at their respective places.
