Uttar Pradesh government has taken action in the alleged Ram Temple donation anomaly case in Ayodhya and arrested 3 persons. ADG Lucknow Zone Praveen Kumar told Aakashvani News that 3 persons have been arrested. He said that an FIR has been registered at Ayodhya Police Station on the complaint of Krishna Mohan, a member of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The case has been registered under Sections 306, 316(5), and 317(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). A total of eight people have been named as accused in the FIR, though no major or prominent names have been included. Six of the accused are reportedly cashiers. The action comes after the Special Investigation Team (SIT) submitted its investigation report. The probe was related to alleged irregularities in the handling of donations received for the Ram Temple.
