Farooq Abdullah condemns Pakistan for terror Attacks in Jammu and Kashmir

Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah has lashed out at Pakistan for perpetrating terror attacks in the union territory.

Dr. Abdullah was speaking to media in Srinagar yesterday following the killing of seven innocent civilians by terrorists at Gagangir in Sonamarg area of Ganderbal district.

Dr. Abdullah said Islamabad will have to stop terror incidents in J&K if it wants to have friendly relations with India. He said there can be no talks between New Delhi and Islamabad till the neighbouring country stops killings in Jammu and Kashmir.

The former J&K Chief Minister said the attack at Gagangir was a painful incident as it led to killing of poor people who had come to Kashmir to earn their livelihood. He advised Pakistan that it should allow people of Kashmir to live in peace and dignity and focus on their own country’s development.
