The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has credited the pension for the month of August 2026 to the accounts of around four lakh 40 thousand pensioners under the Keralam Zone today. Ordinarily, the monthly pension is disbursed at the end of month.

 

However, in view of the Onam celebrations, EPFO made special arrangements to release the pension today, thereby enabling pensioners and their families to meet their financial requirements and celebrate the festival without inconvenience. 

 

The Ministry of Labour and Employment said that the pension has been credited through EPFO’s Centralised Pension Payment System, which facilitates seamless and efficient transfer of pension directly to the bank accounts of beneficiaries across the country.
