Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Bhupender Yadav today met Australia’s Minister for Climate Change and Energy and President of the COP31 negotiations Chris Bowen, in New Delhi.
In a social media post, Mr Yadav informed that they discussed key agenda items for the upcoming Pre-COP in Fiji and COP31 in Turkey. He also highlighted the success stories of India’s ambitious climate action under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the past decade. Mr Yadav further reaffirmed India’s commitment to being a supportive partner to Australia in its role as President of the COP31 negotiations.
