England defeat India in 2nd T20I of 5-match series in Manchester

In Men’s Cricket, England defeated India by 4 wickets in the second T20 International of the five-match series at Old Trafford in Manchester yesterday. India set a target of 191 runs for England. In reply, England scored 191 runs for 6 in 19 overs. Opting to bat first, India posted 190 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Jacob Bethell was declared the player of the match.

The third T20 International between India and England will be played on Tuesday at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. Earlier, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi created history by becoming the youngest player to make his international debut for India. Vaibhav made his debut at the age of 15 years and 99 days, surpassing the long-standing record held by Sachin Tendulkar, who made his India debut at the age of 16 years and 205 days.
