In Women’s Cricket, hosts England sealed the three-match series 2-1 against India, registering a six-wicket victory in the third and final T-20 International at Taunton last night. A commanding partnership between Heather Knight and Alice Capsey helped England chase down 180 with ease. Alice Capsey was declared player of the match as well as player of the series.

 

Earlier, put into bat first, the Indian women posted 180 runs, losing 5 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. In reply, England scored 184 for 4 in 18.3 overs.
