Union Education Minister Pralhad Joshi chaired a meeting of senior officials of the Ministry. In a social media post, Mr. Joshi stated that the meeting was convened to discuss the proposal to continue the ‘National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme’ from the financial years 2026-27 to 2030-31. Discussions during the meeting focused on the key aspects of the scheme and its continued implementation to support students across the country.
