Enforcement Directorate (ED) is conducting searches at 18 premises in Chennai, Tiruchirappalli, Coimbatore and Madurai in connection with the alleged Teacher Recruitment Exam manipulation case. ED said that the action is based on an FIR registered by the Central Crime Branch in the year 2017. It added that the police had filed a chargesheet in the case in 2021.
