The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is conducting search operations at seven premises across Punjab, including those linked to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA from Moga, Amandeep Kaur Arora, in connection with a case involving the alleged fraudulent acquisition of government and institutional properties and misappropriation of public funds.

ED officials said that the searches cover premises associated with Amandeep Kaur Arora’s husband, Dr. Rakesh Arora, family members, associates and a de-addiction hospital associated with Dr Rakesh Arora.

ED noted that the investigation relates to the alleged fraudulent mutation of government land acquired for National Highway No. 754A in Moga district and the wrongful disbursement of compensation. ED registered an Enforcement Case Information Report (ECIR) based on an FIR registered by the Punjab Police on 16th June 2024.
