The Election Commission has extended the last date for filing claims and objections under the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls in Odisha to the 19th of this month. The deadline for the notice phase and disposal of claims and objections has also been extended to the 17th of next month. The Commission said the revision in the schedule has been made following a request from the Chief Electoral Officer of Odisha.
