The Election Commission today announced by-poll to Nagaon Lok Sabha seat in Assam. It has also announced assembly bypolls for two seats each in Tamil Nadu and West Bengal and one seat in Puducherry. The Commisson said, Madurantakam and Dharapuram seats in Tamil Nadu, Rejinagar and Nandigram seats in West Bengal and Thattanchavady Assembly seat in Puducherry will go to the poll.
Notification for the for the Lok Sabha and Assembly Bypoll will be issued on Wednesday. Nominations can be filed till 16th of this month. Polling will be held 6th October and counting of votes will be take place on 9th of next month.
