In Greece, an earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale struck the country today. According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, the quake occurred at a depth of 13 kilometres near city ​of ​Rethymno on the island ​of ​Crete. There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
