External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar today visited the National Palace and Museum in Addis Ababa.
Sharing glimpses of his visit on social media, Jaishankar said the museum vividly showcases Ethiopia’s cultural legacy and historical significance.
Earlier in the day, Jaishankar held talks with his Ethiopian counterpart, Gedion Timothewos, to explore ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in education, culture, trade, investment and digitalisation.
The two ministers also exchanged views on global developments, enhancing multilateral engagement and strengthening the partnership between India and the African Union.
Jaishankar highlighted that the strategic partnership between India and Ethiopia is founded on shared values, common aspirations and South-South solidarity.
