External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar called on Prime Minister of Kuwait, Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. Dr Jaishankar thanked Prime Minister of Kuwait for support to Indian community’s welfare and well-being. In a social media post, the External Affairs Minister welcomed the vision of Mr Al Sabah for stronger and mutually beneficial India-Kuwait cooperation. Dr Jaishankar also met Defence Minister Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah. The External Affairs Minister spoke about defence industry cooperation and maritime security.
