The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) has busted an illegal drug manufacturing facility in the Jewar area of Gautam Buddha Nagar in Uttar Pradesh. The Ministry of Finance informed that 30 kilograms of illegal drugs were seized and two persons were arrested during an intelligence-led operation of DRI.

The Ministry said that the preliminary investigation indicated that the accused persons would bring manufacturing equipment and raw materials to the premises during night hours, set up and operate the facility for about a week, and thereafter remove the equipment and clean the premises.
