Union Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has said that the Design Linked Incentive (DLI) Scheme is delivering encouraging results.

In a social media post yesterday, Mr Vaishnaw said that Thiruvananthapuram-based semiconductor start-up Netrasemi has developed the country’s first Edge AI System-on-Chip, NETRA A2000, using an advanced 12-nanometre technology node.

He said that, when deployed at a commercial scale, the chip will power smart vision applications in sectors such as surveillance, automobiles, robotics and drones.
