Delhi Traffic Police has put in place special traffic arrangements in the Southern Range from today till the 11th of next month in view of the Kanwar Yatra. Sharing an advisory, it said that during this period traffic congestion and diversions are expected due to the movement of Kanwariyas and Kanwar camps along major routes. It advised commuters to avoid travel on Outer Ring Road, Ring Road, Mathura Road, MB Road, MG Road, Aurobindo Marg, JB Tito Marg and LBS Marg during peak Kanwar movement. Further, it advised commuters to plan their journey in advance, especially if travelling to the Airport, Railway Stations or Hospitals.
