Delhi police plans maximum security for visiting BRICS dignitaries with minimum inconvenience to public

Delhi Police has made elaborate arrangements in view of the BRICS Summit 2026 which is being held on 12th and 13th of this month at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. Giving details about the security arrangements , Special Commissioner of Police, Protective Security Division , Manish Kumar Agrawal said that arrangements have been planned to ensure maximum security for visiting dignitaries while causing minimum inconvenience to the public. He added that security related deployments have been made in coordination with the Home Ministry and various central agencies including with Intelligence Bureau and National Security Guard. He informed that around 15 thousand Delhi Police Personnel and 200 companies of paramilitary forces have been deployed in the national capital for the security arrangements. Specialised surveillance cameras have also been deployed along routes to be used by visiting dignitaries.
